- Top dressing: Spread evenly onto the lawn then rake and water in. Top dressing is best done straight after mowing. Lawn repairs: For any holes, divots and bare patches, apply between 1 – 3cm and water regularly until an even surface is achieved. Turfing: Apply a thicker layer to the joins where turf strips meet, as well as any narrower strips and low areas. Then sprinkle a thinner layer over the rest of the turf. Water regularly until an even surface is achieved. Pro-Grow Lawn Conditioner will hold additional moisture for the turf, and help it to establish after being laid.
